The children from the Fayetteville Christian School made these special crafts for the children having surgery. Yesenia (left), 6 years old, and Lydia (right), 8 years old, both had tonsillectomies.

Elisabeth, who is 6 years old, is coloring in her room with Nancy after a successful tonsillectomy.

Nancy helps Cornelius, 3 years old, with coloring. Cornelius had a successful tonsillectomy.

Adela, 55 years old, is married with two children. She has had problems for over two years with her tonsils. She found out about Mission of Hope from a neighbor and is thankful for her successful surgery.

Carla, 4 years old, is one of 4 children. Her father abandoned her, and her mother earns about $4/day hand washing clothes for people. Carla had surgery to remove her adenoids, which has caused problems for several years!

Dr. Phil Chen talks to Constantino before his surgery with Martha translating. Constantino is 55 years old and traveled 12 hours by bus from Cochabamba. He had a tumor on the right side of his face that had been slowly growing for 20 years. He is a truck driver and was delivering vegatables to Santa Cruz. A man in the market saw his tumor and told him about Mission of Hope.
